Dance Theatre Seven is a spacious, light-filled ballet school located in beautiful downtown Fairfax, California. Since 1988 we have been helping children to grow their love of dance and to mature into happy, healthy young adults with the skills and self confidence to succeed at whatever they do in life. Upon entering the doors you will see you are not in any ordinary dance studio. Right away you will notice that there aren’t a lot of walls! While most dance schools do not allow parents to watch the dance classes, here you are encouraged to know what your child is doing — or to view one of the many other classes taking place. We strongly believe that dance training benefits every child. While honoring each child’s individuality, the staff sets consistently high standards and expectations in the classroom — regardless whether or not that dancer will become professional. Through ballet, like all classical arts, a child begins to understand the value of personal responsibility, concentration, and commitment — all of which provide invaluable skills, which the child can apply to all facets of their life. This is what we call Training the Complete Dancer™. We have recently added adult classes so that we may open our doors to the entire community. Dance is a wonderful tool for self-expression, exercise, and body consciousness. In 2006, upon retirement of the Roxander/White family, Maggie Sapienza took over as owner and Director. To keep the school running as a "family", many of Dance Theatre's graduates have returned to teach and share their knowledge and gifts with the school.
